More than just a pretty face, this enchanting landscape is also a treasure trove of modern art. Purchased during the early 20th century by the Kröller-Müllers of German descent, Herr Kröller-Müller was a passionate hunter, his wife an enthusiastic art collector. Bringing together both their passions, the couple opened the celebrated Kröller-Müller museum, a national art gallery and sculpture garden. Enjoy a guided tour of their former country residence and marvel at the second largest collection of Van Gogh paintings in the world, while our guide entertains you with the secrets and stories behind the works. Other notable exhibits include works by Vincent Van Gogh as well as George Seurat, Pablo Picasso, Fernand Léger and Piet Mondrian – tours can of course be tailored to your areas of interests (with a child friendly version on offer too!)
Finally, with those culture cravings satisfied, it’s time to head for the spacious gardens where you’ll find the largest sculpture collection in Europe! A safari with a cultural twist – what’s not to like about that?
